The procedure below documents the transfer of echos from GE Vivid Echo scanning station to a EchoPAC desktop. The echo studies from the EchosPAC desktop are then periodically (once a week) transferred to NAS storage (ReddyCloud).
There are two aspects to this backup procedure.
To perform these steps, a user must be logged in as ADM on EchoPAC . The EchoPAC software is loaded on Wisconsin desktop. Below are the login details:
The Vivid Scanner should be configured so that the remote workstation is pointing to billing desktop (ip address 10.10.30.55). After transferring the echo studies from Vivid scanning workstation to EchoPAC desktop , follow the steps below to back up the raw images and the associated database. This procedure should be performed at least once a week:
Ensure the following are selected on the EchoPAC Software:
Config -> Admin->Disk Management
Selected the Destination Device to be Remote Path (\\reddycloud\echos\GE_Echos\2014\wisconsin)
Set the Remote Path to \\reddycloud\echos\GE_Echos\2014
Note: Its very important to ensure that the Destination Device field and Remote Path field is setup correctly
Once these attributes are setup correctly, press Start. All the studies should now transfer from EchoPAC to ReddyCloud NAS storage.
This procedure backs up the database:
Select Config->Admin->Backup
Ensure the following are selected:
Ensure the destination path is set to the following:
Destination Path (\\Reddycloud\echos\GE_Echos\2014\BACKUP\wisconsin)
Ensure the Remote path is set to the following:
Remote Path (\\Reddycloud\echos\GE_Echos\2014\BACKUP)
After these are verified, press Start backup
